Whispering Reeds (2011)

"My first memory of the Broads is standing by a reed bed and being fascinated by the gentle swishing sounds of the breeze stirring the reeds. Reed is the most elegant and beautiful plant in the world."

Eternal Light (2009)

"It is my belief that the Broads hold many hidden secrets. To me they have an energy and the power to rejuvenate the soul. Eternal Light says so much about the way I feel for our enchanted Broadland."

David Dane (taken from the Foreword)

Beyond Dusk & Dawn (2007)

"In the 80's and 90's my paintings were being reproduced and marketed worldwide by Rosenstiels of London. Two of the most successful prints were 'Dusk' and 'Dawn' the theme of this exhibition."

Mists of Time (2005) - The Broads Past and Present

"Dawn and dusk, those most magical times of day, an ethereal counterpane of mist emerges, partially surrounding the rivers and marshlands of Broadland. These are the thoughts that inspired this exhibition."

David Dane (taken from the Foreword)

Secret Broadland (2003) - Off the Beaten Track

"So much of the Broads we never see, hidden beyond reedbeds and woodlands are small broads and secret places. I have attempted to capture the mood and mystery of a few of these precious gems."

David Dane (taken from the Foreword)

The Spirit of Broadland (2001)

"How do you define the qualities of a place as unique as Broadland? For myself there is an energy, a oneness with nature here and natural forces that can still be found - The Spirit of Broadland."

David Dane (taken from the Foreword)

The Broads 2000 (1999) - SOLD OUT

"One evening about four years ago, I was thinking of the forthcoming Millennium, suddenly I felt that for the occasion I should be doing something very special."
